View PostThis week, students have been learning about Day of the Dead traditions. Some year 7 & 8 students created a replica of a traditional Mexican Ofrenda (a shrine) that is a custom during the celebration. These Ofrendas are seen in Mexican houses and are a way of remembering family members and ancestors who have passed away. Students created paper candles and flowers to decorate the ofrenda and we dedicated it to Spanish speaking celebrities from the past.
