We're Proud to Support Safer Internet Day For Safer Internet Day 2026, the UK Safer Internet Centre and Nominet have released new research exploring young people's experiences and attitudes towards AI. The findings highlight just how quickly AI is becoming part of everyday life, and why we must continue listening to young people and supporting them to navigate these changes safely and confidently. The session shared Connor's story and highlighted the reallife impact that knife crime has on individuals, families and communities. Our students had a fantastic morning at NUCASTLE (Newcastle United Foundation building), designing and building their own vehicles before adding the engineering components needed to race and battle on the track. View PostInspiring Year 10 Experience at the Theatre Royal! On Friday, 30th January, our Year 10 students had the fantastic opportunity to attend the world premiere of 'Weird' at Newcastle Theatre Royal, a bold new musical that reimagines Macbeth through the eyes of the iconic Weird Sisters. As Year 10 students will be assessed on Macbeth during their final English Literature GCSE exam, this live performance offered an exciting and memorable way to deepen their understanding of key themes, characters, and plot developments. Seeing the story brought to life on stage really helped consolidate their learning. Our students were brilliant ambassadors for the school, fully engaged throughout the performance and inspired by this creative interpretation of a classic text. Their enthusiasm and thoughtful reflections afterwards made us incredibly proud.
