View PostYear 10 Take On the Anthea Bell Translation Prize! Last week, our Year 10 Spanish students worked hard to compete in a national translation competition called the Anthea Bell Translation Prize for young translators. They each had to translate a passage of text from a book as creatively as they could and decorate their entries. The top 5 entries were sent off to be judged, and we will hear back at the end of May about the results. View PostOur Ski Trip To Andorra Was A Huge Success In the final week ahead of the February half term, students travelled to Andorra and spent a full-on week in the Pyrenees, with many skiing for the very first time. We were so impressed by their enthusiasm, resilience and the way they represented the school. Even after 4 hours of skiing each day, they kept pushing themselves, supporting each other, and ending every session with big smiles. Off the slopes, students explored the area, practised their Spanish, and ended the week with a fun disco and awards ceremony. We're thrilled to hear how much they enjoyed the trip, and how many are already excited for the next one!
