Admissions to our school are coordinated by North Tyneside Local Authority.

All parents of students currently attending Year 6 at local primary schools will be given the opportunity to express a preferred choice of high school during the autumn term before the deadline of 31st October. We have excellent links with local primary schools to enable students to become familiar with the academy and its staff. North Gosforth Academy staff regularly visit the primary schools, and students from the primary schools will have many opportunities to visit our school and undertake a wide range of transition activities here.

Open Evening for New Families

We invite all students and families interested in joining us for Year 7 in September 2027 to our Open Evening.

School Open Evening – Wednesday 23rd September 2026, 5.30pm to 7.30pm.

Join us to learn about our ethos, values, curriculum, and the numerous opportunities we provide for our students. As part of Gosforth Group Multi-Academy Trust, we provide excellent education and a diverse curriculum for students from Year 7 through to GCSEs, with a seamless progression onto Sixth Form to study A Levels or BTECs at either Gosforth Academy or Jesmond Park Academy.
