Admissions at North Gosforth Academy v2

Admissions to the school are organised by the Local Authority.

All parents of students attending local primary schools will be given the opportunity to express a preferred choice of high school during the autumn term. We have excellent links with local primary schools to enable students to become familiar with the academy and its staff. North Gosforth Academy staff regularly visit the primary schools, and students from the primary schools will have many opportunities to visit our school and undertake a wide range of transition activities here.

Parents will be invited to school for an Open Evening, and any parent who wishes to visit the school at any other time is very welcome to do so. Please contact the School Office to make an appointment. Parents outside the catchment area, who are considering applying to the school for a place for their child, are invited to contact the School Office to make arrangements for a visit.
